Community is the heart and soul of Wise Fool. It is our mission and our method.

We our proud to be a grass-roots organization run mostly by volunteers, to involve local artists in every facet of the organization, and to patronize local businesses. We judge the success of our projects, classes, and performances based on the amount of laughter, hugs, and general good feeling which permeates the space, the art, and the faces of our participants. We hold annual community forums and host an online discussion group to promote dialogue and feedback among the members of the inclusive Wise Fool Community, made up of staff, artists and performers, board members, and our awesome volunteers. We also have a monthly e-newsletter that we send to the rest of the Wise Fool Community: the individuals, families, patrons, and supporters who care about Wise Fool and the work that we do.

Wise Fool is also committed to accessibility of the arts for all people, regardless of income. We adhere to a "no one turned away" policy at all studio performances and offer discounted youth tickets to family events. Every year, we work with the Santa Fe Public Schools to offer free performances of Circus Luminous to 1600 local public school children. We also offer performances and workshops at subsidized rates to local schools, libraries and community centers and distribute “Two for One” tickets in the Peñasco region through school and afterschool programs to assist low income families in attending events in Peñasco.
