Circus Summer Camps in Santa Fe
Session 1 in Santa Fe: All Levels: July 9 - 20, 2012
Session 2 in Santa Fe: Intermediate: July 23 - August 3, 2012

"The summer camps were hands down one of the best summer experiences in all of our years in Santa Fe (where there is lots to offer ... but Wise Fool still tops most all). The atmosphere was always sweet and happy - time for play and learning amazing things from the amazing young and vibrant teaching staff. The role models for my daughter could not have been better." - Kids Camp Parent

An annual program since 2001.

Wise Fool is proud to present these two-week summer day camps for youth who want to learn to fly on the trapeze, walk tall on stilts, find their inner clown, and tumble their way into a fun summer! Youth age 7-14 learn amazing circus skills including stiltwalking, trapeze, juggling, aerial fabric, clowning, acrobatics, and puppetry - culminating in spectacular shows! Camps run Monday through Friday, from 9am to 3:30pm except for our Big Show Fridays (7/20 and 8/3) which will have Noon dismissals for campers to prep for their final performance at 6pm on those evenings.

Summer Circus Arts Workshop in Penasco
July 23 - Aug 3, 2012

Peñasco Theatre/Wise Fool is proud to present a two-week summer workshop extravaganzas for youth ages 5-13 who want to fly on the trapeze, walk tall on stilts, find their inner clown, and tumble their way into a fun summer! Participants will learn skills in stilts, trapeze, movement, visual art, theatre, acrobatics, and puppetry! Camp runs Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm.

This workshop also connects artistic expression with social responsibility toward the community. Youth choose a local environmental or social issue “theme” for each camp, which then permeates the activities, public art component, and final performance. Past themes have included permaculture and the creation of a community vegetable garden, understanding and negotiating generational differences, nutrition and nurturing, and water conservation. An annual program since 2002.
