Wise Fool Performances
In medieval times, advisors to the kings were often unable to address controversial matters without fear of retribution. However, the court jester, or "wise fool," could draw upon disarming spectacle and humor to inform the views of those in power. Wise Fool New Mexico continues this tradition today, engaging audiences with breathtaking artistry while raising awareness around issues ranging from water use and immigration to domestic violence.
Circus Luminous
A collaboration between Wise Fool New Mexico and the Lensic Performing Arts Center, Circus Luminous is an annual "new circus" extravaganza featuring breath-defying circus acts created and performed by a predominantly local circus, dance and musical cast. Circus Luminous has become a Santa Fe family tradition for Thanksgiving Weekend, playing to sold out audiences at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center each year since 2002.

In Migration
WFNM is currently in the beginning phases of creating a new major work, InMigration, a 25-minute, highly visual, physical theatre spectacle to be performed outdoors. InMigration will explore the universal and timely themes of migration, immigration, their intersection, and the search for “home”.
